Which AI model powers Smappen AI?
Smappen AI runs on Google's Gemini models. We use the model that gives the best balance of quality and cost, and we'll switch as better options appear.
Where does Smappen AI get its data?
It is not connected to the internet and doesn't browse the web. It reasons on two things: the model's general knowledge, and Smappen's own curated data, meaning official datasets from national census sources and points of interest.
Can Smappen AI change or delete my work without asking?
No. Before it deletes anything (an area, a points-of-interest search, an indicator), it asks you to confirm. It only ever acts on the map you currently have open. The decision is always yours.
How much does Smappen AI cost?
It's included from the Pro Plan, at no extra cost while it's in beta.
